I have a LSQ9010pw3 washer. My problem is that the washer did not drain all water out the other night. I have disassembled complete washer and I think I tested pretty much everything. I checked all hoses tub and pump for clogs. The pump is new. I removed the transmission and spun it with a drill both ways. It seems to be functioning properly. Only thing is that when the machine goes to drain the motor will not turn until it goes to spin cycle so I'm thinking that the neutral drain in transmission is bad. I just removed the motor and pulled out the motor-trans coupler and then reinstalled the motor. The reason I did that was to see if the motor without turning anything else would pump water. It barely pumps water at all.
ANSWER Hello Brandon. It should not turn during the neutral part of the cycle. It sounds like the pump or the clutch is bad on the unit. Not the motor or transmission.
