The motor starts and does agitation and a few seconds later, approximately 20 seconds, I hear a click and it stops. I cannot restart it. I stop it and let it cool off a few minutes. Then I can start it in any setting and it will repeat the problem. When I put it on spin, after it cools off, it does the full cycle and it stops. I do smell overheating smell of a motor. The agitator turns freely left and right full cycle. Is there an overheating switch in the motor?
The direct drive coupler I replaced new and did nor fix the problem. PLEASE HELP!!
ANSWER Hello Chris. It sounds like the motor is bad and will need to be replaced on the unit.
