Note: This question is for the older version of this part, but we thought you might still find it helpful
I am testing my 2 speed whirlpool washer motor and the reading that I am getting from the start up winding is 0 ohms but the test states I should have 4-10 ohms. I realize that the instructions are pretty simple but just wanted to check and see if my motor was bad since it had 0 resistance.
ANSWER Hello Todd! You are correct, if the motor is reading 0 resistance, it will need to be replaced. Thanks!
