I have the admiral dishwasher model DDB150AWW . It seems that the handle is broke. It just flops very loosley. Has no response when trying to engage the handle. I think I have found the part. It this something that would be quite simple to repair? And when I take the door apart will there be any gaskets that will have to be replaced? Thank You Very Much and Have A Blessed Day!!!
To replace the door latch assembly W10130697 there are no seals that you have to replace. You would remove the screws from around the perimeter of the inner door and lift the inner door. There will be a screw holding the latch assembly in place that you would remove and then pull the latch assembly out. Make sure that power is off to the unit when doing this. Remove the wires from the assembly and attach to new latch and put in place and put screw back in and liner back on.
