motor doesn't start. 4 pin connector on motor. what should the readings be with an ohm meter and the power disconnected?
thanks
Bill for Model Number 8283457
ANSWER Bill, The motor winding resistances are as follows: white/purple to gray, (drain winding) 4 to 7 ohms. white/purple to yellow, (wash winding) 4 to 7 ohms resistance. and white/ purple to blue white (run winding) 2 to 3.5 ohms. Of course you need to allow a 10% tolerance on the resistance readings to be within factory specs. and don't forget to check the motor start relay circuits. Thanks
