After a spatula fell onto heating element during wash, the dishwasher quit heating water and drying. Is this likely to be the heating element, thermostat or thermal fuse?

ANSWER Hello Bill! If something has burnt onto the heating element it more than likely shorted it out and it isn't working as well as it should. I would start with replacing the element first. Your part number is W10134009. Thanks!
