I bought this dishwasher used. It works but dishes and glasses have a white film. I feel that the rinse aid dispenser is not dispensing rinse aid. Soap door works fine. Is there anyway to check the function of the dispenser?

ANSWER David, White deposits on articles in a dishwasher is not usually due to lack of rinse agent. It's due to low water temperature, extremely hard water not enough water in the tub or detergent usage. Try this, in a small container use equal prts of hot water and distilled white vinegar, soak an article in the solution for 20 to 30 minutes, if the deposit is gone, it's a deposit of detergent or hard water. Check the water temperature in the bottom of the tub after a fill and 5 minute wash, the temperature needs to be at least 120 dgrs, and should partially cover the bottom of the heating element if the unit is filling properly. Good Luck and Thanks
