It appears that my diverter motor is leaking. The seal comes out of the sump and looks ok. But the motor assembly has 2 blue wires, 2 orange wires. Contacts on orange look really good. Blue contacts look awful. One of two contact points is there but corroded, other is missing. I see the replacement part for w10056349 but the wiring harness only has one lead? How do I install this part? Cut and splice? Which wires and where? I will use plumbers silicone grease for the seal. Advice??
ANSWER Hello Ron. Unplug the wiring harness from the old motor and plug into this new motor. The blue wire is for jumping the unit.
