I have a broken cable on the door counter weight spring system. I have part kit #8194001 but the string is significantly shorter than the original. This does not seem correct.

ANSWER Hello Tom! According to the manufacturer the door balance link kit 8194001 is the correct replacement. Replace both door balance links at the same time. Thanks!
