The machine began to malfunction in that if the door was opened mid-cycle the machine would not restart when the door was closed. You had to turn the dial to the beginning of a cycle to get it to go. Now it will not start at all. Perhaps this is because the dial does not pop out as it should at the end of a cycle and therefore it cannot be depressed as it ordinarily would be to start the dryer. As you turn the dial around there are certain ranges in which you can hear a small motor running. If you leave the dial at one of these points it will continue moving until it gets to the end of that cycle. Then the small motor stops and the dial stops rotating, but as stated the dial does not pop out. The door switch turns out the light if it is pushed in.
ANSWER Hi. Make sure the door catch part # LA-1003 is not damaged. The timer is bad and is part # 502963. Thank You.
