Ice chute door will not close, seems out of time or touch.I purchased a new motor and installed, it seemed to work a few times but now the door will not open. All parts are in great shape, nothing chipped or broken. I wondered if I have to reposition the door ans motor alignment and unplug the fridge or something as easy as that. I also thought thAt there might be a problem with the switch that actuated the door and ice dispenser, or a circuit board.
ANSWER Hello Bob. If the motor is new, and there is no broken parts on the dispenser, then it sounds like the control board 2303843 is bad on the unit and will need to be replaced on the unit. You can test the pads 2305247GM and see if they are closing when you press the switches built into them. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
