The door on my microwave has some brown spots along the base of the glass. Is this caused by a transmission leak? Is this dangerous?

ANSWER Hello Mike, this could be caused by smoke and grease coming up from the cooktop infiltrating the door. The door is not sealed, you can try to take the door apart and clean it. The discoloration is not dangerous and the microwave does not have a transmission to leak. Thanks!
