I replaced the two original oven door hinge springs back in March because the door would not close all the way. A few weeks ago the same problem came up again and I call APP.com and they sent me a new set of the same hinges (Item #AP3083224 for stainless steel doors).
These new hinges have been in place since then and just today the problem is back. Nothing, heavy or otherwise, was placed on the open door. As a matter of fact, the oven was maybe used twice since the last hinge replacement.
Can you please give me some insite as to why this problem keeps coming back?
I find it heard to believe that I am installing them incorrectly, since it is a very straight forward installation. I also can't believe that I received two bad hinges in a row.

ANSWER Hello Steve. You will need to check and see if the hinge reciever 4455521 is bad and needs to be replaced on the unit. These can cause the issue you are having as well.
