I am looking at the hose and am wondering how to cut this hose to the proper length. The entire length of the hose other than the existing ends are ribbed, and the rubber piece at the non-barbed end seems sealed on. How do I get this rubber piece off, and will I really be able to reposition it and clamp it onto a cut end of the hose if the hose will be ribbed and not smooth?
ANSWER Hello Jessica. You do not need to cut the hose 3385556, just mount the extra hose high enough where it won't siphon out. Hope this helps.
