The other expert posts describes how I should cut the hose and to make it as short as possible. It won't be bad to have such a long hose?
ANSWER Jessica, The longer the drain hose, the longer the time it takes to drain the dishwasher, it also increases the possibility of a clog or restriction in the drain hose. The shorter the better, the fewer connections the better. Good Luck and Thanks.
