I am looking for a replacement motor for the above kenmore dryer. Is the procedure to replace the motor a simple one or a hard one? The motor recommended is ap3094233. Is this correct?

ANSWER Hello Bob. Yes, the correct motor is 279787 for your model. These are not easy to change, but can be done. You will need to remove the drum from the dryer and remove the blower wheel from the motor, to remove the motor. Hope this helps.
