The dryer drum quit turning. The controls light up, and youcan hear a click when you try and ingage the dryer.
The windings read 1.7ohms across both main and starter windings.
The controls have been acting up, but there is no ohm reading between P1-3 and P1-4 on the master control board.
Thinking motor, but there is no sound hum or anything comming from motor. It just quit.
ANSWER Hello Jim. You need to check the door switch and the thermal fuse in the unit and see if they are bad on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
