I have a Whirlpool Duet dryer. Everything lights up but the dryer will not start. The motor and the motor control board has been replaced and the dryer still will not start. When you push the start button, you hear a click. The dryer door closes and you also hear a click when you close it. I have ran out of options with the dryer. Also, the thermal fuse has been tested and it is good. Do you think it could be the dryer door part?
I really need help here.
ANSWER Hello Gail. Test the door switch and see if the contact reads closed with the door closed. If not, replace the door switch on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
