Getting power to the door switch but dryer will not run. Switch seems to not have any spring tension when manually pressed. Does this mean it is broken and do you think a new switch will solve the problem? Thanks in advance.
ANSWER Hello Fred. Test and see if the switch reads closed when the door is closed. If not, replace the door switch 3406107. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
