The dryer makes a horrible screeching noise for a few seconds when it starts up but then it stops making the noise and dries the clothes just fine. Do you think the belt should be replaced?

ANSWER Annie, Yes, replace the drum belt 33002535 it is glazed and stretched from usage(normal wear and tear) and is slipping and making noise. Thanks
