The dryer squeals a great deal when first turned on, but after a minute or two it goes away. I was thinking it was the belt slipping until it warms up, but may also be the rollers. Would prefer to only get the part I need and open the box only once. If I need both rollers, pulley wheel and belt, is there a kit for this model? Any help is appreciated.
ANSWER Al, You're on track, You are going to want to replace the drive belt 661570, but that should be all you need. The squeal noise could be due to several possibilities, including overloading, room temperature, and usage. However, while you have the dryer dismantled, you may want to remove the drum rollers and idler pulley from the shafts, clean off the shafts and the inside of the roller bearings and idler pulley with a clean dry wrag, and lubricate each shaft and roller bearing with a couple of drops of "turbine oil" TJ93240. Other than the motor, these are the only moving parts inside the dryer, and the clean up and lubrication, should keep the dryer quiet and operating properly for quite some time.
