Last night our dryer had a high pitch squeal which I assumed was the belt. I stopped it and started it again and the noise stopped. However, this morning we were running it and the drum stopped turning but the timer and lights were all still on. Looking inside the toe plate panel the belt is not viably broken... Have recently replaced the thermostat and thermistor. Not sure what I need to replace. Any ideas?
ANSWER Hello Kevin. You need to check and see if the rollers are bad, or the blower wheel is locked up. Something has the tub in a bind if it does not turn.
