I got the replacement element (4391960) and carefully replaced it for the old one which was broken. Now when I have it replaced it is tripping the circuit breaker. I unplugged the heater element and the drier runs normal with no heat. I took it apart a second time to be sure the element was not touching the metal side - it wasn't. Am I missing something? Thanks KenM
ANSWER Hello Ken. The element has to be grounded to cause the breaker to trip. It is the only thing that can cause that.
