dryer over heats no matter what heat range selected very, very hot.
ANSWER Hi Dan, check for a restricted vent. The vent gets clogged or restricted with lint and will not let air flow causing the dryer to get hotter. If this continues long enough you will eventually trip a thermal fuse which will kill the power to the element and you will have no heat. Here's a link about dryer issues. Hope this helps! http://www.appliancepartspros.com/repair-help/dryer-repair-help.html#electric
