Inglis electric clothes dryer / serial#c4338ele-2406024-sm50 ,this unit won't heat or dry clothes. I need to know what to look for and how to fix problem.

ANSWER Gerald, First check and make sure, both the breakers in the breaker box are reset and locked in the on position. You'll need a multi meter to check for closed circuits in the back of the unit.Remove power to the dryer, remove the rear panel, remove the wires from the component terminals to be tested and check for closed circuits across the heater element, Hi limit thermostat, and thermal fuse, all are located on the heater assembly or inlet flue and easy to access and test.
