I just replaced the heating element and now doing the thermostat and thermal cut-off. Is there a certain polarity on the thermostat or thermal cut-off? I only ask cause I wired it all up and the thermal cut-off blew. So now I got a new set but am curious if I wired it reversed. If I bypass the cut-off the dry heats up and works fine.

ANSWER Hello Kevin. The wires should go from your motor, to the heater, from the heater, to the thermal cut off, from the cut off to the high limit, and from the high limit to the timer. Hope this helps.
