I have a whirlpool dryer that is from 1998. I have noticed in the last few days it is taking longer to dry the clothes.I put on high heat for 55min. and have to put an additional 30 more min. because the clothes are still rather damp. I have checked the lint trap and the outside vent is blowing air out, what part do I need to replace?
ANSWER Hello Susan. This is a venting issue. Check the inside of the dryer and try running a load without the vent pipe connected and see if it dries properly.
