The dryer runs but It heats sometimes and then does not other times. Seems the timed dry does not work at all but the automatic dry will work sometimes. Don't know what to replace.
You will first want to check the venting of your unit to make sure that the vent is not clogged. You will also want to test the thermostats for continuity. If no continuity at room temp then they are faulty. You will also want to check the incoming power to the unit and make sure that there is 240 vac coming to the unit. You can also run the unit and check the voltage drop at the terminal block and make sure that you are not losing more than 10 percent of the 240 vac.
