Dryer runs but does not heat. No continuity through the thermal fuse so I am assuming this needs replacement? What would cause this fuse to blow? As far as I know this is the original fuse.

ANSWER Hi Jim, you are correct, the Thermal Fuse 3392519 should be closed to allow power to pass through. If it's open with no continuity, you need to replace it. Check your Hi Limit W10423382 and Cycling thermostats 3387134. Also, check your vent duct to see if there is an air flow restriction, clean any lint build up. Hope this helps!
