We purchased this used and took it up to our mountain cabin. It takes a real long time to dry. The owner (who we trust) said it worked fine. Is there something we need to do now that is is 7,000 ft above sea level to make it work?
Thanks

ANSWER Rick, First check the type of gas supply. Do you have Natural or LP gas supply to the cabin. You may have to convert the dryer to the appropriate gas supply. Then check with the previous owner for the type gas the dryer was attached to. You'll need to check and make sure the dryer is installed properly and the venting is not clooged, or kinked, and as hort and straight as possible. The only adjustment you should have to make, if all's proper and OK, is to fine tune the air shutter on the burner tube, to achieve the proper fuel / air mixture.
