My dryer will not start or run,do you think it is the thermal fuse.
Steven for Model Number Ler8620pgo
ANSWER Hello Steven,
You will want to check the thermal fuse 3392519 first. To test the fuse you would check for continuity on the fuse. If the fuse does not show continuity then it is bad and would need to be replaced. You will also want to check to make sure that your venting from the blower wheel all the way to the outside of home is clear. If it is obstructed it will cause longer drying times and cause thermal fuse to fail. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
