i have replaced the motor ;push to start switch buzzer switch thedryer just makes huming noise ican reach inside spin the drum and the dryer takes off and runs what would keep the dryer from running
ANSWER Dean, Are you sure you have 220 VAC at the outlet, and at the terminal block on the back of the dryer. Check and make sure all the terminals and connections on the terminal block are good and tight. If you're sure you have everything installed and wired correctly, you'll need to by pass the door switch and check for 120 VAC across the blue and white wires at the motor switch when the start button is activated. You may have a faulty contact in the timer, or loose connection causing low voltage to the motor.
