My dryer turns on but when I push to start it does not start. I replaced the Thermostat & thermal fuse and it worked for one load and stopped again. I then replaced the door switch but it did not start up again.
ANSWER Hello Joe,
If the thermal fuse is blown again, the issue is the exhaust duct. The only thing that will open the thermal fuse is high temperature. This means that the unit is not able to blow the heat out of the duct. Check for a crimp or a clog in the exhaust. Don't forget if there is a flapper door on the outside of the home, these sometimes hace a grill that will stop up over time with lint from the clothes.
