My dryer was running and heating fine. Then the next time I put in a load it would not heat. I ran a continuity check on the thermal cut off and it is open. Does that mean I need a new one. And can I run continuity checks on the thermostats and heating element?
ANSWER Hello Rick. Yes if it is reading open then it will need to be replaced. You can test all the thermostats and the element for continuity. They should all read closed.
