I've run a cycle without the unit connected to the exhaust vent. It didn't seem to help. The vent tubing is clear from obstructions as far as I can tell. What to do next?
Thank you.

ANSWER Hello Jen. You will need to check the temperature of the dryer while it is running. Use a multi-meter with temperature TJMA-DMT3 and test at the back of the dryer where it vents out. Set the unit on high heat. It should cycle between 100° on the low side and 165° on the high side. If the unit is not cycling properly, you may have a bad cycling thermostat. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
