Our dryer starting acting up about a week ago. The light on the control panel goes dim and the dryer won't come on. If we unplug it for a while, and plug it back in it will run for a cycle, then you start all over with the process.

ANSWER Hello Gary. Test and see if the control 280100 is failing on the unit, or if the motor is overheating and will need to be replaced. It sounds like the motor 279787 is overheating and drawing down the power and shutting off the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
