The wash cycle buttons to start the washer sometime activate the washer (turn it on) and sometimes pushing the cycle buttons does not turn the machine on. What is the problem?

ANSWER Hello Paul. If the buttons are sticking on your control panel, check for a loose connection. If the connections are good, you will need to replace the control panel 8563810. Hope this helps.
