Dryer was not heating. Changed element, still no heat. Changed thermostat and thermistor and other fuses checked out ok. The thermistor did test bad, thats why it was replaced... Still no heat. What is the next step in troubleshooting process? With the thermistor testing bad, does that mean the control board is bad?
ANSWER Hello Jennifer. You need to test for power coming from the control board W10111606 to the element. If it is not there, you will need to replace the control board on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
