Today I was pulling out an old bulb for replacing in the oven. As I pulled it out, the bulb popped. Now the touch controls to the oven don't work. The stove-top works fine, but I don't have any response from the touch control panels for the oven. Also the new bulbs don't light up when you open the door. Please provide any guidance as to what may be wrong. Thank you.
ANSWER Amy, At this point, based on your description, and the wiring diagram, you've damaged the control board 3191106. When you removed the bulb and you heard a "pop" that was a short to chassis ground, and that voltage spike, most likely damaged the control. Remeber to remove power to the range, anytime your dealing with a component that operates on electricity. Thanks
