I can't find the model number for my Maytag Gemini range (there are stickers inside both doors, but they only show a serial number, no model number: 8114P749-60, for what it's worth). I removed the kickplate, no number . . . the range is at least 8 years old—I don't have the manual, as it came with the house when we bought it. The front right burner (a dual burner—9 inches across for the "large" setting, about 5 1/2-6" for smaller) only heats up the smaller middle part. It appears that a part of the outer heating element is burned out and I need to replace it. Is it possible to tell me if the dual element burner replacement # 74009743 would replace this burner? Thanks!
ANSWER Hello Jennifer, without a model number we cannot assure you that this is the correct element replacement for your unit. However you might want to try part number 12002144. This is a dual element that resembles your measurements, thanks!
