I have a 10 yr + Jenn Air. I was preheating the oven. There was a bright blue flash, the display panel went dead, and the bake element burned bright white light for several minutes until my husband flipped the breaker switch. The bake element has a burnt, damaged area, 4" from where it plugs into the back of the oven.
How do I know if I just need to replace the bake element or if I need additional parts?
ANSWER Hello Anne. If it damaged the oven liner, you will need to order 2210W114-18 and the element 71001680. If it also got the clock assembly 5700M662-60, you will need to order it as well. Hope this helps.
