I need the lower over element, I was cleaning the oven and lifted the element up to wipe under it and it poped and sparked, now the left side is not heating. I can still cook but I'm worried the whole thing will go out soon. To replace it does it just pop out and the new one pops in... Of course with the power turned off first.... Thanks for your time
ANSWER Hello Annette. Yes, you will disconnect the power and remove the screws securing the old element. Pull the element out and remove the wires from it. Now install the new element 7406P428-60 in reverse order. Hope this helps.
