I know the part number. My question was is this a plug-in grill or does it require an electrician to replace it. When I look at the parts list that came with the unit it appears to be a plug-in

ANSWER Hello John. You will need to disconnect the power going to the unit. The wires on the element are plug in type wires. You will remove the old element and unplug the wires, then install the new element 71003237 in reverse order. Hope this helps.
