Element kit 2200w on the front right is not heating up how do I know if it's bad,the part is 93 dollars.
You will want to access the back of the range and take the cover off the back of the control panel. On the switch that you are having an issue with the element check for voltage from H1 to H2 with the switch in the on position. You will be looking for 240 vac. If you do not have voltage then the switch is bad and if there is voltage then the element. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
