Last week, when I turned on a burner, I see sparks under the ceramic and that
burner unit stop working. Do I only need to replace the burner, or there are
other electric parts needed ? Thanks.
ANSWER Hello Cecilia. If the element 8523696 is burnt out, and there is power coming to it, but it does not work, you can just replace the element. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
