I think my heating element is bad on the top oven. Only the outside loop on the coil makes heat. The inside stays cool and the oven take a long time to heat up - twice as long as the bottom oven. Is this a bad heating element?
ANSWER Bill, You'll need to remove the broil element and check the resistance of the inner element (45 to 55 ohms resistance) with a multi meter. If the element checks proper W10207400, the issue would be in the wiring or the control board relay 4453661 not supplying power to the inner element. We're sending you some additional information with the relay cycle charts so you can check and verify the issue. Thanks
