The evaporator fan blade is clipping a large ice ball that has formed, making a very loud noise. I assume something in the defrost unit is not working properly. Defrost is working, otherwise, there would be no water to form the ice ball. Is the main suspect the evaporator (hopefully not), or maybe something else?
ANSWER Hello Mickey! Is the evaporator coil icing up? If so, you could have a defrosting issue. The defrost is made up of three parts; the defrost heater 2323198, defrost thermostat W10225581, and the defrost timer 482493. You can test these parts with a multimeter TJMA-DM1. Here is a link from our free repair forum you can refer to for help with using a multi meter. Hope this helps, thaks! http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
