Is the evaporator motor supposed to run continuously? Mine is getting noisy and never turns off. Coils were iced up, measured the heating coil and it is not open (24ohms roughly).
Fridge and freezer are both cooling.
The evaporator fan motor will run constantly if the unit temp is not getting to where it should. Since the coils were clogged you will want to check the defrost thermostat as well to make sure that it is not reading open. It should have continuity when closed. If both the heater and the thermostat check ok then you will need to replace the timer.
