I have had this fridge about 2-1/2 years and about 5 months ago I noticed that it defrosts I am guessing and drips water into the drip pan at the bottom alot more than I can remember my old one doing. I replaced the water filter right before this and woke up the next day to find water all over the floor. A local repairshop said that I could of pinched the oring on the filter or that the filter housing is cracked. I tought that was what was making the dripping noise. The water has been turned off since then. After I turned the water off I noticed the dripping going on. Why does it drip so much and could it defrosted enough to flood the floor or do you think that was from the filter?
