I replaced the oven sensor. However, when the oven was set to bake at 350 degrees the bottom element heated up and turned off when the control reached the desired temperature. The convection element remained on and the oven heated up to over 450 degrees before we manually canceled the operation. Would replacing the Fan-Convection part correct the problem?

ANSWER Hello Steve. No, based on the information you provided, it sounds like the control 8507P234-60 is bad and will need to be replaced. If it is sending power to the covection element, and the unit is set to bake mode, replace the control board. Hope this helps.
